Gary founded Antonoff & Co in 1967 and remains active in the business and the management of family assets.
He has been involved in several aspects of the real estate industry over his career, most notably in the development of neighborhood shopping centers and manufactured housing communities.
His activities regarding charitable organizations include serving as Campaign Chairman, Board member, and President of the Allied Jewish Federation (now Jewish Colorado), on the board of Rose Medical Center, National Jewish Hospital, the Jewish Community Center and the Anti Defamation League.
In the civic arena, he was chairman of the committee that successfully raised the funds to support the City of Denver’s effort to annex land for Denver International Airport and co-chair of the finance committee that raised the funds required to pass a sales tax to fund Coors Field. He served on the Colorado Baseball Commission, the Mayor’s Blue Ribbon Committee for DIA, the Denver Chamber of Commerce, and the Colorado Sports Commission.
He and his wife Donna get great pleasure from his son, Doug, daughter and son-in-law Wendy and David Berman, and grandchildren, Josh Berman, Lauren Antonoff, and Katie (Berman) Stein and her husband Zach.
